We Won the Audience Award!!

Thank you Josh for all your work. Congratulations on your award!!! Yahoooooo! I hope it pushes the auto industry into more actions. i want to drive pure biodiesel but my mercedes (dodge sprinter) supposedly wont take it..(they say b5 only). I would love to put pressure on the mercedes people to change their engine to make it do so or to tell us (the public) how to modify it...but who is sleeping with whom? Anyway , I am hopping to be able to "up" It. I also want a smaller bio car and will hopefully have more choices soon. We went to the Best of Fest tonight in Park City not having any idea what we were seeing. We left with a changed outlook on our life in America and what we can do to change our future. Thanks for making this film and sharing it with us!

My wife and I live in SLC and like to try to see some shows at the SFF every year. We tried to get in to your show on Saturday but were left standing as the next ones in the wait list line when the theatre was full. This morning my bro-in-law called me up early and said he got tickets to the Documentary Audience Award and that it was your show. My wife and I headed up this afternoon and were so glad we saw it! I must say, what a wonderful film, very well done and I feel that you have emphasized the exact parts of your holistic approach to getting us off of "dino" oil very well. My wife and I sold our car in Oct 2006 and purchased a 2003 Jetta TDI. We had been looking for about six months for a good one. I'm a tinkerer and started doing maintenance on it while beginning to run biodiesel in it. Because it was October and getting cold, we did B20 through the winter and then it was on to B100. A few weeks ago, out of curiosity, I calculated how much petroleum-based fuel we have used over the past year. We have used about 300 gallons of petroleum diesel. Had we kept our other car (an Audi A4) we would have used 1,100 gallons of petroleum-based fuel! I have been following algae-based biodiesel for some time now and have looked into the NREL's work on it in the past. I'm studying biology and love the idea of genetically tweaking the algae to produce a fuel that will work well in cold temps. I particularly have to deal with that here in Utah. Anyway, enough of my rambling, I am truly happy that you won the Audience Award, congratulations!!! Absolutely wonderful film, I will be buying multiple copies when they're available.
